Whitlingham Boathouses Foundation

Mitch Johnson and Tom Pedelty of UEA Boat Club will be attempting their 100 km tandem sponsored row in support of Whitlingham Boathouses on Monday 25 February.

The challenge will take place in the window of Pilch sports shop in Norwich starting at 10am. They hope to maintain a 1:50 split time to finish in about 6 hours.

The annual Carrow Cup race, organised by Norwich Rowing Club, will take place from Pull's Ferry through Norwich via Carrow Point to Broadland Boat Club on Saturday morning with the first race at 0945.  This historic race first took place in 1813.

This significant grant recognises the importance of Whitlingham Boathouses, a community rowing and canoeing facility, for all residents of South Norfolk.
