What do I do if I don't receive my activation email after signing up to ipatter?
If you've not received your activation email after signing up just email support@ipatter.com with you problem and the team will get your accout activated as soon as possible.
How do I find Broadcasters to connect with?
If you know the name or location of the business, organisation, charity or educational institution, simply type it into the 'Search Broadcasters' box on the ipatter.com homepage and it will bring up relevant search results. Or click on the 'All Broadcasters' on the left hand bar and you can search by keyword, location or postcode.
Why haven't I got any Patters on My World page?
It's probably because you're currently not connected to any Broadcasters, so you haven’t got any Patters to view in your homepage.
Start by finding some Broadcasters you're interested in and add them to your Network. Once you've found some interesting Patters you can add the Broadcaster to your Network by clicking through to their Profile page and selecting the Categories and Locations that are most relevant to you. Any Patters that Broadcaster has then tagged with those criteria will appear in your My World page.
How do I add a Broadcaster to My Network?
Once you've found some interesting Patters you can add the Broadcaster to My Network by clicking through to their Profile page and simply pressing the 'Add to My Network' button below the company description.
How do I edit which Patters appear in My World?
You can edit which Patters appear at any time by going to your My Network page and completely removing a Broadcaster you’re no longer interested in. This will stop their Patters appearing in your feed.
I want to stop receiving Patters from a specific Broadcaster, how do I do it?
Go to My Network and click the 'Remove' button. You can edit how we keep you up to date with ipatter in your 'My Preferences' page.
Is ipatter free?
Yes, it's free to sign up, search and view Patters, add Broadcasters to your Network and share Patters with others on a basic membership account.
How do I report abuse?
If you wish to submit a complaint about a certain Broadcaster, report spam or any other abuse, please send an email to support@ipatter.com outlining the problem and we'll investigate it.
How do I report a problem?
Please check the Support page and if you still can't find the answer, please send an email to support@ipatter.com and we'll try to fix it as soon as possible.
How do I cancel my ipatter account?
Please email: support@ipatter.com from the email address used to set-up your ipatter account, and we will close your account. We're always looking to improve our service so if you wish to send some feedback you can send an email to the same address so that we can improve on what ipatter.com has to offer.
How do I change my details, such as my password or email address?
Go to the My Details page on the left navigation bar, click Edit Details and this will allow you to edit your name, date of birth, country, location (postcode) and enter a new email address or password.
I’ve lost my password. How do I retrieve it?
You can reset your password on the Forgotten Password page.
Can I share a Patter on other social media sites?
You can share a Patter that you find interesting on any of the following sites: Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Delicious, LinkedIn, Myspace and Stumbleupon. Simply click on the Share This button under any Patter.
What is the 'Overview' tab?
The 'Overview' tab shows a condensed version of the vital information you'll be looking for on your profile such as your Latest Connections and New Messages as well as Premium Promotion Tools (for Premium Account members) and options to help Build your Network.
From the 'Overview' tab you are also able to post a Quick Patter and access More Patter Options as a Premium Account holder.
What is the 'My World' tab?
On the 'My World' tab the account holder is able to find a list of all the latest patters from the broadcasters which are in their network. You can filter these patters by looking at Updates, special Offers and events using the tabs provided in the section.
What is the 'My Network' tab?
On the 'My Network' tab you're able to find a list of all of the broadcasters you have connected to.
When you see a broadcaster you want to get patters from you click the 'Add To My Network' button and this is where they can all be seen collectively.
What is the 'Messages' tab?
On the 'Messages' tab you are able to find your Inbox, where all the messages sent to you are stored. Here you can also compose messages to send to other broadcasters, find a list of all of your previously sent messages and see all the messages that have been deleted.
What is the 'My Vouchers' tab?
On this page you are able to find all the voucher codes which you have viewed or downloaded on ipatter. These vouchers can then be exchanged for deals which the Premium broadcasters are offering!
What is the 'My Preferences' tab?
On the 'My Preferences' tab you are able to look at and change the frequency of the automatic emails which ipatter sends out. On the default setting you will receive daily email summaries of your connections relevant information at about 14:00. This can be changed to receive emails as new patters are published, on a weekly basis or not at all if you prefer.
In this section you are also able to opt-in and out of allowing ipatter to email you with latest news and updates, when you receive a new message on ipatter, when a patter you've published has been commented on, when another user of ipatter connects to you and when a user downloads a voucher.
On this section you can also change the distance you see on the website from imperial to metric, or vice versa, and change the time zone which you're based in.
As a member you have slightly less options than a broadcaster however the concept is still the same.
What is the 'Local To You' tab?
The 'Local To You' tab allows you to find broadcasters and patters which are near you based on the postcode area you entered when creating your profile.
You can filter through the types of patters in this section by updates, events ad offers or you can search by keyword or location.
What is the 'Search Patters' tab?
The 'Search Patters' tab allows you to search through all the patters on the ipatter website. You can search for 'All Patters' or refine your search to find offer patters, update patters and event patters. You can also search by keywords and/or location/postcode.
What is the 'All Broadcasters' tab?
The 'All Broadcasters' tab allows you to search through all the broadcasters of the ipatter website. You are able to refine this search either by keywords and/or location and then order the results by 'Most Recent' (default), 'Most Relevant', 'Closest' or 'Oldest'.
What is the 'Home' button?
By clicking the 'Home' button you are taken straight to the 'Overview' tab where you can then find information such as the number of connections which have been made to you since you last logged in, your new massages as well as the 'Quick Patter' tool.
What is the 'About' button?
After clicking on the 'About' button you will be taken to a page where you are given an overview of what ipatter has to offer. You're also given an overview of the basic features of ipatter and what it can do for you!

After clicking on the 'Support' button you're then taken to a seperate interface with various tabs which fall under the support category:
FAQs - This is where you'll find all the Frequently Asked Questions related to ipatter. If you can't find the answer to your question here email support@ipatter.com.
Glossary - This is where you'll be able to get answers in relation to questions of the ipatter lingo.
Downloads - This is where you can download images of the ipatter logo and, if you're a broadcaster, download buttons which can then be embedded on your own site.

The 'Contact Us' button allows you to get in contact with the support at ipatter and lets you take care of any service questions, partnership proposals, or media inquiries.
The messages sent from here will be sent directly to support@ipatter.com where they will be responded to as soon as possible.

What time do the ipatter team get into the office?
We start our day officially at 09:00 and end our day at around 17:00. If you need to get in contact with anyone here - Somewhere in this window if time is best.

The best number to call would be our Client Services Manager's number which is 01603 251 754. He's be able to help with all issues you may be having with the service ipatter provides.
What's the best time to call the ipatter team?
You can call the ipatter head office any time during the 09:00 - 17:00 period from Monday to Friday. If we're unable to take your call then leave a message with your name and number and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Alternatively if you have a query in regards to anything and can't get to a phone you can simply email any questions you have to support@ipatter.com and the team will get back to you.
