There is no substitute for assertiveness when filming
All to often I see footage where a beautiful, meaningful shot has been wasted because the production team hasn't kindly asked the person in front of the camera to move to the side, or better still moved the camera!
What you are left with is a shot which includes all the elements the client will love, plus a close up of someones head!
There is not a moment to waste when shooting, especially a live event. It's incredibly important to know what you want to shoot (thinking forward to the edit and understanding the customers business aspirations for the video) and take control to make sure your not holding your head in shame when you look at the footage back at base.
My biggest tip to companies looking to employ a production company to promote their business is to review their work first and make sure you are happy. Don't just assume because they claim to be a production company they can produce brilliant results you will be proud of showing to the world.

Still to be convinced
OK, so in the myraid of social networking mediums we have at our disposal nowadays, Facebook, Linked-in, Twitter to name the most popular ones, it begs the question; why use iPatter and more to the point, why pay for iPatter?
This isn't to say that iPatter isn't hugely beneficial, its simply that I cannot see the benefit for my time, beyond using all the other mediums I spoke of...
