Global mentor is new ipatter CEO

From the Business Weekly THE VOICE OF EUROPE'S INNOVATION CAPITAL - The East of Engalnd- Global mentor is new ipatter CEO Chris Batten, a business mentor to over 250 businesses worldwide, has been appointed CEO of ipatter.com – a communication platform aimed at SMEs set up by a Norfolk entrepreneur. Up to his internal promotion in the business, he was head of global sales and marketing and will now be responsible for focusing on developing the business further across the UK and internationally. His appointment also marks the formal launch of a host of new features aimed at the business community. Masterclasses, books, ‘patter boardrooms’, educational events and roadshows form the new features, aiding SMEs and start-up businesses with practical business advice, supplementing the company’s existing offering. Batten said: “It’s a tough time for a number of businesses and rather than being supported, they’ve being overlooked. ipatter.com is all about giving businesses shared learning experiences, advice, leads and links to others working in similar industries. “Essentially, we’re a clicks and mortar business giving organisations the foundations they need to realise potential and grow.” Chris has experience of working as CEO to businesses in the UK, US and Middle East and he has mentored in excess of 250 organisations. Batten adds: “We have made it our business to understand what the SME sector want and deliver it to them, so as of November we are combining elements of the new media model with the traditional business model. Ultimately, we’re looking to encourage aggregation and information exchange.” ipatter.com currently has more than 2,600 active broadcasters with over 165,000 business and consumer connections. Volume is growing by some 20,000 new connections each month.
