East Anglian Air Ambulance makes 1000!

The sky's the limit for Norfolk-based Business as the East Anglian Air Ambulance becomes 1,000 th sign up!

It’s up, up and away for online business ipatter.com which welcomes the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) as the 1000th 'Broadcaster' to join its unique online community, bringing with it the opportunity to raise much-needed funds.

ipatter.com, which launched in April 2010, is transforming the way that businesses, charities and individuals communicate with each other and their customers online.

Working in a more targeted way than Facebook and Twitter, the site enables people to network and promote themselves credibly on the internet and is attracting hoards of key local organisations such as the National Trust, the Mall Shopping Centre, the UEA Internship program, The Forum, Visit Norwich, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Holkham Hall.

The EAAA is the latest local heavyweight to sign up and has joined the site to build regional connections, promote their work, and raise much-needed funds through the ipatter.com referral scheme.

Andy Fisher, Founder of ipatter.com, explains: “Our referral scheme will enable us to raise thousands of pounds for important organisations such as the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Quite simply, for every supporter, fan or member of that organisation that signs up to ipatter.com via a special link on the EAAA website, we’ll donate money to the cause”.

“It benefits the individual as they can keep up to date with regular news from the organisation on ipatter.com and, what’s better, they don’t have to part with their own money to make a donation. For the organisation, it’s a new way of raising funds which, after speaking to a number of charitable groups, are becoming even harder to come by in the current climate”.

ipatter.com will donate £5.00 for every referred business or organisation who signs up as a ‘Broadcaster’ and a further 50p for each individual that registers as a ‘member’.

Pip Duffy from the EAAA comments: “Relationship building in the local area has always been a valuable exercise for us, but networking online is becoming increasingly more important, especially when it will also enable us to generate funds. There is no doubt that ipatter is already gaining a great reputation across East Anglia as the new business communication platform and we are delighted to be joining the ipatter community.

In just seven months since it launched, ipatter.com already has around 1500 accounts registered as well as 35,000 valuable connections cemented between organisations or individuals.

Andy Fisher continues: “The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a well respected local organisation and carries out vital work throughout the region. We’re proud to welcome them as our 1,000th Broadcaster”.
