Please take care when driving through our village in the evening, this time of year the frogs & toads (& newts) wake up and drag themselves across fields & ditches using their last reserves of energy to get back to the pond where they were born. They have one thing on their mind, I am sure you don't need me to explain ! & then metres from the pond they get splattered across...

We are campaigning for a safer route for children to cycle to school at Hethersett.  Both the existing routes are narrow roads without speed restriction and are used by lorries and commuter traffic.   The new homes that are likely to be built soon in Hethersett will increase the traffic. We would like to see more people able to cycle to work in order to reduce traffic...
