How can I stop the T.V from destroying my profession?
I've just watched "The Fat Fighters" on channel 4 followed by "The Biggest Loser" on ITV+1.
Both shows portray fitness professionals in a very poor light- either lacking empathy, on steroids or underweight and with knowledge little greater than an untrained amatuer despite apparent credentials. My simple test for all trainers I'm associated with is to ask myself...

The Special K Diet....a bad idea for weight loss
Eat two bowls of special K a day & one propper meal & I guarantee you one good thing will happen..... sales of special K will double & somebody is getting rich!
