With all the kitchen and other hassles recently I have not been able to do one of my favourite things which is cupcake development.  So although Monday is technically my day off I am going to whip up a batch of lemon curd and then see about making a true lemon curd cupcake and see how a spoonful of lemon curd cooks within the body of my cake mixture and of course I will add it to the buttercream.  My mouth is watering already at the thought of it.  Look for it soon on Cupcakes To Your Door, our online cupcake shop.

I have also been asked to design an oreo cupcake and having never tasted an oreo I think the first bit of research should be to taste some of the biscuits!  I do love the TV ad where the little kid goes Ha Ha!

I have to get used to a new kitchen temporarily for a couple of weeks then finally I will have my own permanent kitchen - I truly cannot tell you how happy this makes me.

All of a sudden I am getting lots of orders for gift boxes of 6 cupcakes and birthday cakes, having just had a few weeks of wedding cupcakes.  You never can predict just what will come through from the cupcake shop.
