What with all the kitchen problems I have been unable to do one of the things I love best ie designing new cupcakes.  Well last night we had a great brainstorm on possible flavours ideas etc, one of the whackiest, from Mike I hasten to add, not me, was marmite!  I think I will give that a miss!

I am however going to try making filled cupcakes using lemon curd, various jams and seasonal fruits with apple being the obvious seasonal choice at the moment.  Apple crumble with custard topping sounds delicious.  I am well on the way to completing the Oreo cupcake so watch out for that.  I also have a jar of Nutella calling out to me so let's see what happens.

Peanut butter was another one that nearly got thrown onto the reject pile but somehow I think that might work, a sort of Snickers alternative.
