I bet you all thought I'd forgotten to write the blog? Well, it was not forgotten, I just had one of those days that are truly character building, a day that will go down in history as being one to remember! The fact is, the first opportunity to write about yesterday has only just presented itself.
The day started early, as always and I was into the usual round of calls and...

Up before day break again, usual routine and then off to the office, ready for the first meeting of the day. The first thing on the agenda for the day was to go through the slides of the Norfolk networking event tomorrow and make sure I'd covered all the bases in preparation for a rehearsal with the BDC and our networking mentor.
I finished just in time for a quick meeting with...

Another tip for an effortless segue to the next slide is to have a clue or a discreet breadcrumb on the current slide as to what the next slide coming… Read More / Post Your Comment

Early start, but I've promised a member of the audience, at tonights launch event, that I won't mention going to the gym. The truth is today I didn't go to the gym, instead I had a breakfast meeting with Andy at 0730. So I replaced the workout with egg, bacon and beans and enough tea to sink a small coastal craft with a crew of four!
I've mentioned the work ethic and good...

I woke today and felt like I hadn't slept at all. After what can only be classed as a slow start, I finally got motivated and by 08:45 was at the local football ground with my 'Tame Paratrooper', for my weekly session with him. Wow that was a tough one, I thought my heart was going to burst. It was only a 45 minute session but boy did I know I had worked. On my short jog home my...

Why is this entry so late, I hear you ask? The answer is quite simple. It's because when I got home after a long and challenging day, just to top it off my broadband had gone down and so I had to wait to write the blog entry!
The day started quite slowly for a change, now that doesn't happen that often I can tell you. I got to the office nice and early so I could get some...

A year in the life of the ipatter CEO - 21 Feb 2012
Today was a real mixed bag for me on a personal level and it all started with a bit of a sleepless night of my own doing. I just refused to take my own advice and worried about a few things that I have no control over, which is a complete waste of time and energy, but I still lay there and worried about it - silly boy!
I was about to leave for the office when I noticed I'd missed a call...

I had a bit of a late night last night and ended up going up the wooden hill at around midnight. It seemed I had just dropped off when the alarm went off, that can't be right, I thought, but according to my watch and phone it was 0500 and time to get up.
After a shower and shave it was down to the home office to catch up on some email and prepare for the recruitment day being run...

Apparently I am making some people feel tired when I write about my early starts, so lets just say that this morning I was up in time to do all the usual ablutions; iron a shirt, polish my shoes, make a cup of tea, do my emails and drive the 20 something miles to the office in Norwich to meet up with the Altitude guys for day two of the recruitment drive.
On the way I stopped for a...
