I'm looking forward to visiting some lovely little Churches today, with a visitor from Australia. We're off to see the villages where this lady's ancestors lived and to pay respects to her family. Some of the Churches we will visit today, are so well hidden that it would be impossible to get to them on a bus tour and some of them would put off all but the most hardened of family...

Off to one of my favourite places today! My perfect day is to be surrounded by lots of old documents and the Norfolk Record Office is the place for me as that place holds 99% of my family history! I'm one of those lucky people who has ancestors who didn't move much and all of my direct ancestors were from within 50 miles of where I live today!
