We are a small independent museum run entirely by volunteers. We won Museum of the Year in Leicestershire in 2007 and 2010. Our exhibitions tell the history of Ashby de la Zouch from ancient times to the present day. We also have displays on surrounding villages and have an extensive archive of photographs and documents. We have our own film unit making films about local history and life in Ashby and we organise talks, walks, children's activities and school visits.

Kids' History Club Ashby Museum
The next Kids History Club is on the theme of Pop Art. Come and create your own masterpiece! Saturday 5th May. Two identical sessions: 10-12 and 1-3pm. £1 entry to cover cost of materials.
